Jacqueline C. Cox, RN, BSN, MPA
Jacqueline (“Jackie”) is our co-founder, President, and CEO of SpecialtyHealth. Jackie has years of experience in the healthcare industry and it is her entrepreneurial spirit that is the driving force that helps create programs to keep the patient first above all, while addressing the high costs through cutting unnecessary and harmful procedures. Her background in applied statistics has provided the foundation for creating our wellness database with measured outcomes. Jackie has a BS in Nursing from University of Nevada and MS in Public Administration with a focus on statistics from the University of San Francisco and a certification in nutritional health coaching.
E.J. Greenwald, MD
Co-Founder and Medical Director
Dr. Greenwald (Greenie) is our co-founder of SpecialtyHealth and is also a founder of the SpecialtyHealth Wellness and Prevention Program. He has many years of experience as a physician with a vast knowledge of cardiac care with a focus on diabetic prevention. He is one of our main marketing gurus. He will often be found traveling the country speaking about our programs and products. He graduated from Northwestern in Chicago with his Doctor of Medicine, and had his residency in Orthopedic Surgery, at LA County USC Medical Center.
Scott L. Hall, MD
Board Certified Family Practice & Sports Medicine Provider
Dr. Scott Hall is our in-house medical provider with over 15 years of experience working as a Sports and Family physician. He graduated from Ohio State University with his Doctor of Medicine in 2002. Scott completed his Sports Medicine Fellowship from the Sports Medicine Grant, Columbus, Ohio, in 2006. He also completed his Family Medicine Residency and Chief Residency at Grant Family Medicine, Columbus, Ohio, in 2005.
Grant Anderson, MD
Lipidologist and Medical Director
Dr. Anderson oversees risk assessment, evidence based medicine practices and individual patient care. He joined SpecialtyHealth Wellness after decades of private practice in Northern Nevada, working in primary care functions, hospice and as a board certified lipidologist.
Director of Wellness and IT
Ethan is our Fitness guru at SpecialtyHealth. He has a wide range of experience in the last 10 years from stuntman to personal trainer and award winning track coach. He has a BS in Human and Performance from North Dakota State University and is a ACE Certified Personal Trainer.
Megan Pratt DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, GS-C
Family Nurse Practitioner
Megan Pratt is our Nurse Practitioner at Specialty Health Wellness. She has been a nurse in our community for nearly 20 years. She also works for the University of Nevada, Reno as a full-time Associate Professor and is the track leader for the Family Nurse Practitioner and Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner programs. The more patients know about their bodies, their labs, their health, and risk factors the more empowered they are to make changes to live their best life.
Mandi Reaves, RDN, LD
Health Coach – Registered Dietitian
Mandi is our Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Health Coach extraordinaire at SpecialtyHealth. Mandi graduated from the University of Nevada Reno with her Bachelor’s of Science in Nutrition Dietetics.
Prevention Coordinator and Personal Trainer
Kara has a degree from the University of Nevada in Community Health Science with a special interest in Public Health. Kara’s love for movement, activity and exercise began at a young age when she became interested in tumbling, an activity that lead her to a world of competitive cheer. While Kara is SpecialtyHealth’s personal trainer, she also is a competitive cheer coach here in Reno.
Wellness Coordinator and Phlebotomist
Diana was born and raised in Sheboygan, WI. And moved to the Reno area in 1996. Diana graduated with her Medical Assisting diploma in 1987 and in 2006 went back to school and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Paralegal. Diana has been with SpecialtyHealth since 2019 as our Wellness Coordinator and traveling Phlebotomist.
